Bengt
Hokanson and Trefny Dix are partners in life and work. They met in New
Orleans in 1994 and have now set up their studio in Durango, Colorado.
Their sources of inspiration greatly vary from the paintings of Howard
Hodkins and Mark Rothko to African textiles and the immediacy of
graffiti.
Their creations fuse Swedish and Italian techniques to
create exciting, bold pieces each containing abstract forms, their
palette range is wonderfully vibrant and exquisitely composed.
