Driade is an aesthetic workshop that right from it's origins has worked
with designers able to anticipate new lines of research and trends. It
proposes a philosophy of home-living based on the conviction that
eclecticism, cultural collage, curiosity and surprise, represent the
true sense of our age.
Vittorio Locatelli's collaboration with Driade, dates from the early nineties. He combines work closely tied to architecture and design with “studio” work involving the applied
arts, from decoration to illustration to graphics and painting.
The Tenochtitlan candelabra albeit bold in colour and form evokes balmy climates, warmer seas and the delicate fronds of coral. Stunning as a centrepiece, magical when illuminated.
