Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert has been working on large scale glass making for over a decade. Jeremy is a studio glass artist who has worked with masters in Seattle, Venice and Paris and accrued high technical skills along with his ambition and passion for glass making.
In his own words, ‘Glass became my passion from the first minute I saw molten glass. It looked so hot, sexy, dangerous, technical and a real challenge. My pieces do not have a precise point of departure, but they have the same “spirit” – I create my work using intuition and let myself be guided as much by words as by things: “factory,” “organic,” “intensity,” “fruit,” and “orgasm” are some of the words and themes that inform my works and through which I imagine different combinations.
These are combinations that, in the end, are the material of my work. I create pieces I like that contrast with a space. The result seems to call up a feeling of “nature” in these often very geometrical, minimalist spaces.ʼ
