Jane Dillon CV

Whether mundane or unique in its use the resulting object is always a combination of our idea shared through language and the natural movement of the materials we choose. By working closely with highly skilled manufacturers/ makers the intention is to create outstanding pieces that remain truthful to the material itself whilst exploring their structural and aesthetic possibilities.

Studio Dillon’s recipe for design:

Material, process, mass production, craft, market needs, fashion, tradition, history, expectations, archetype, use, form, volume, line, colour, texture, unit cost, economy, environment, beauty.

Result: civilisation
